I graduated from Independence High School in 2000, then finished my Associate degree at Independence Community College in 2001. I earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology at Pittburg State University in 2003, then went on to earn a Master of Science (M.S.) in General Psychology in 2004 and an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in School Psychology in 2005, both from Pittsburg State University.

I began practicing school psychology in 2005. I have worked for ANW Special Education since 2017 and have been assigned, at least part time, to the Iola School District since starting with ANW. I am currently the School Psychologist at Iola Elementary School for grades Pre-K through Third. I am also assigned to community preschools within the Iola district and part of an outside district.
I worked as a School Psychologist in Fort Scott, KS from 2005 to 2017.
