Mrs. Koehn is currently the assistant principal at IES. 

Prior to the opening of IES, Mrs. Koehn was the principal at Jefferson Elementary for 5 years. She taught fourth grade for 5 years at Lincoln-Central in Cherryvale, KS. 

Mrs. Koehn married her husband, Mike, in 2017. They have two sons, Tyson and Maverick. Tyson is currently a student at IES. They also have one dog, Skye. Skye is a black and white labradoodle mix.

When Mrs. Koehn is not at school, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching the Jayhawks, reading, and playing frisbee golf.
